Indigenous Peoples
If you’re a member of an indigenous nation, you can use this web site to . . .
- Find Yourself: Are you interested in learning more about your own culture and traditions? Browse through the Learning Centers, which represent the traditional knowledge of indigenous Americans from Hawai’i, Mississippi, Alaska, and Massachusetts. If your group is not yet represented on the web site, feel free to share.
- Share Your Knowledge: Echospace.org currently explores the cultures of only a handful of Native American groups, but we would like to expand what we offer – both through new cultures and through additional Learning Centers about the cultures we already represent. Do you have special knowledge and insight that can improve the education of children and families? After signing up for a free echospace.org account, learn how to upload your own Traditional Knowledge Learning Center. You will find instructions on uploading stories, information, photographs, maps, charts, or videos about your topic.
- Get Web Site Help: If you need help uploading resources or a Learning Center, contact us, and our site administrator will reply via email.
