Yup'ik Singers

These members of the Alaska Native Heritage Center High School Dance Group are using a traditional Yup'ik drum as they sing for the dancers. Note that they are drumming on the top; the same drum is used in Inupiaq and St. Lawrence Island songs, but it is struck on the bottom.
